De omliggende het gebouw is een zeer levende woon- en commerciële zone, waar ze traditionele winkels in de stad pontificeren. In het blok is er een Pingo Doce -supermarkt (voor de Bolhão -markt) en veel gastronomische supermarkten. De straat van Fernandes Tomás beklimmen een beetje, men arriveert in Santa Catarina Street, de hoofdas van de handel in Baixa do Porto, waar het commercieel centrum via Catarina, de emblematische café Magestic en een breed scala aan internationale merken zoals Zara, Cortefiel en FNAC.
